The Reedy River isn’t a large one, but it is definitely something Greenville residents love. This park offers spectacular views along part of the Reedy River. You’ll enjoy views of nature, and thanks to markers, can learn a bit of history about the area. This is a great place for people to enjoy a picnic with their families. When you’re finished, you can enjoy a number of shops nearby. The park is open every day from 7 am until 9 pm.

Greenville Zoo

The Greenville Zoo is located in Cleveland Park. Hundreds of animals live here, and there is something for everyone, from farm animals to more exotic animals. The habitats are designed to mimic the animal’s nature environment, so children can get an idea of how they live in the wild. Jones Gap State Park

Here you will find 3,346 acres of nature trails, campgrounds, and natural exhibits of the Environmental Education Center. The Middle Saluda River is in the middle of the park, and the area also includes access to the Foothills Hiking Trail. The park is open from 9am to 9pm from April to October, and from 9am to 6pm from November until March.

This is the perfect destination for people who want to take a scenic bike ride, hike, or simply watch the birds. The park is along the top of the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. Two miles away from the road, you will find Raven Cliff Falls, a breathtaking waterfall. You’ll also find Pretty Place chapel, often used for weddings.
